My Food Philosophy

Food is not at the centre of my life, it is not what gives my life meaning. But I need good, healthy food to keep going: as fast as possible, as steadily as possible, and for as long as possible. After 30 years or so of everyday cooking for myself and my family, I have come to some conclusions.
  • Food often serves as a bucket for our emotions. It is often loaded with memories, values, and identity. For many people, what they choose to eat is a declaration of who they are. Be respectful.
  • Food can do strange things to your brain.
  • Food is a business. Be critical. Don´t buy everything.
