The 3-Week Plan: Day 3

Cabbage pudding is a traditional Swedish dish, and one of the mum-in-law´s specialities. It isn´t hard to make at all. You take half a cabbage head and a large onion, chop them up and fry on low heat to make it tender and a golden. (The smell is sooo great!) Take about 500 grams of minced meat, any kind really, but a mix of beef and pork is good. When the cabbage-onion mix is ready, mix with the raw meat in a large bowl and season with salt, pepper, perhaps some ground allspice and put in a casserole dish or roasting pan. Bake in the oven at 200-225 degrees for half an hour or until brown and the meat is cooked through. Serve with mashed potatoes.
